James Crowden's "Ciderland" wins book award.

According to booktrade.info, "Ciderland" by James Crowden has won the 2008 André Simon Book Award in the Drink category. James was featured on Radio 4's Food programme, and it was from there that I first learned that the "Champagne" method of wine production was actually first invented in the West Country, to create sparkling cider.

Roger Wilkins also has a copy in his cider house, ostensibly for sale. It doesn't look particularly nice though as it appears to have caught a bit of mould, or possiibly the very yeasts from the cider house are infesting its pages!

CiderPunk.com wishes James every congratulation and we hope to purchase a copy, possibly Roger's very one, very soon.
